Our Team

Emily Schmitt, Customer Service (563) 529-8179

Emily was raised in the Quad City area. She attended the University of Dubuque and graduated with a B.A. in 2014 and her Masters in 2016. Emily also is a licensed Realtor in the state of Iowa. She has been the Office Manager at Oak Helm Partners since May of 2016. Emily is an animal lover and volunteers her time to K9 Kindness Rescue. She also has one dog of her own at home, Ellie and many fosters dogs in and out!

Eric Johnson, Sales (563) 676-0636

Eric was originally from Kewanee but relocated to “The Cities” in 2005. Currently Eric is on the Illinois side of the river but hopes to one day become an Iowan. He spends most of his time away from work with his dog Moose or working on his own home improvement projects.  

John Howes, Financing

John is a long time resident of the Quad Cities. He graduated from college in 1950 with his B.A. from the University of Iowa. He is a veteran of the Air Force and was stationed in Germany. John has been with Oak Helm Partners since 1953 when he joined his father. John spends his winters in Sarasota, FL but still continues to work from afar. He enjoys spending time with his family and still continues to be a driving force of the company.

Benjamin Schmitt, Sales Manager (563) 528-4019 

Ben is originally from Illinois, but is an Iowan by choice. Ben attended the University of Dubuque and graduated Cum Laude with a B.A. in Business Administration in 2013. He has been working for Oak Helm Partners since February 2016, and he is a licensed Realtor in the State of Iowa. Ben is an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and fall is his favorite season. Kayla Artioli, Customer Service

Kayla has lived in Iowa her whole life. She attended Kaplan University and graduated with a B.A. in 2013. Kayla has been working for Oak Helm Partners since April 2013. Kayla is a very family oriented person and loves to be outside. 

Jordan Voss, Executive Office Assistant

Jordan was born and raised in Clinton, IA. She attended Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids and graduated with her Administrative Assistant Degree May 2014. Jordan has been with Oak Helm Partners since August 2019. Jordan loves going on the river, shopping, and spending time with her friends and family.
